Russell is serving as Construction Manager at Risk for The Meadows at Wicklow, a thoughtfully designed, 240-unit market-rate housing community located adjacent to The Villages at Wicklow subdivision and The Castlewood Senior Living campus. This 267,174 s.f. development features seven wood-framed, walk-up-style apartment buildings and a community clubhouse designed to foster a vibrant, family-friendly environment.
The community includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with in-unit laundry, energy-efficient appliances, and high-end interior finishes. Amenities feature a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, outdoor pavilion, management offices, and a scenic pond with a walking trail. Five ADA-compliant units are also included.
The project is being delivered in three phases, beginning with the pool, clubhouse, and Buildings B and C, followed by three additional buildings in phase two, and two final buildings in the third phase. Despite record rainfall, Russell maintained schedule continuity using 15 prebuilt weather days, supported by proactive coordination and extended hours from the grading contractor—at no added cost to the owner.
Construction includes wood-framed structures with masonry and siding exteriors, asphalt roofing, and a mix of carpet and tile interior finishes. As a cornerstone of a larger master-planned development, The Meadows at Wicklow offers upper-middle market-rate housing options designed to support a range of resident lifestyles.
