Full-scale 140,000 s.f., 17-story renovation of the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel St. Louis into a Le Méridien, an upscale international hotel brand with a European perspective. The project is located in Clayton, the city’s upmarket business district. The new Le Méridien includes a revamp of all 267 guestrooms and suites, 15,000 sf. of meeting space and re-concepted restaurant featuring high-end, craft cocktails, and an upscale but approachable bar fare and a lounge-style atmosphere.
Additionally, the property caters to the needs of its business traveler base with expanded amenities including a remodeled state-of-the-art fitness center and an outdoor entertainment area featuring a large, swimming pool and a restored parking garage.
Construction began in October of 2019 and finished up in July of 2020. Russell worked with global design firm, HOK, on this project.
