Russell was selected to provide real estate and design/build services for the new home of Orion Technical College in Davenport, IA. Our real estate team presented several options that met their need and then handled all negotiations to purchase with the building seller. As the Design / Builder, Russell led the design team procurement – selecting Streamline Architecture and a Design MEP team to modify the existing space for Orion’s needs.
The 30,000 s.f. facility is undergoing major interior and exterior renovations including:
- Labs (Robotics, Technology, Electronics, Medical Assisting, HVAC Technology)
- Instructor-Led and Virtual Classrooms
- Student Commons Area
- Admissions and Student Aid Offices
- Corporate Office Space
- Collaboration Kitchen / Lounge Area
- Additional 5,000 s.f. of Leasable Space
In addition to the college, Russell is also building out a full-service spa for Orion. The Spa by Orion will have hair styling, manicure, pedicure, massage therapy, and salt water bath isolation therapy services.
