The Dahl Chapel & Auditorium renovation project included renovating an historic 30 year-old library and century-old auditorium into one functional and inviting 700 seat auditorium.
The renovation project included central air, making it a year-round facility, all-new main-level seating and a new permanent sound system. Restrooms were added on the main floor, improvements to balcony seating and other areas increased the visual and aural options for musical performances. The lower level of the Auditorium underwent a complete makeover, with the addition of dressing rooms and remodeled practice rooms.
Additional work included the restoration of ornate woodwork and exterior masonry and the addition of 32 new windows. The chapel quickly moved ahead of its time and became a first-class facility for the campus community and for the local community, as well.
