Russell developed and constructed three buildings totaling 160,920 s.f. on a 20-acre business park in Tallahassee, FL . The project was brought to us by real estate brokers we had previously worked with. Each building is a single-story, pre-engineered structure. Interiors are Class A build-outs featuring a mixture of enclosed offices, open workstations, and conference spaces. The tenants included:Â
- State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)

60,625 s.f. new office space construction - State of Florida Division of Retirement Services
37,994 s.f. new office space construction
The sitework for this project included a lot of complexities, including clearing a densely populated 34 acre urban forest, which had an existing elevation change across the site of 40 feet; moved approximately 140,000 CY of material for site grading; reconstructed two new intersections with traffic signalization / relocation of street lighting at public ROW; constructing / certification process of three closed storm retention pond systems amounting to approximately 20 acres; site utility extension on-site and off-site of 4,900 LF water main, 2,600 LF sanitary sewer, 6,300 LF storm sewer/structures along with an 800 stall parking lot and $500,000 landscaping package.
