Construction of a 54,000 s.f. manufacturing facility, strategically located two feet above flood stage to ensure resilience against potential flooding. The facility features a durable building envelope constructed of load-bearing precast concrete and a TPO membrane roofing system. To promote sustainability and reduce energy consumption, a solar panel array was installed, capable of offsetting 65% of the facility’s energy usage.
The facility’s design includes two loading docks equipped with a five-ton exterior bridge crane, facilitating efficient loading and unloading of materials. The interior features masonry walls with a generous 20-foot clear height, providing ample space for manufacturing operations. Additionally, a mezzanine storage area was incorporated above the center core, optimizing storage capacity. To support the facility’s electrical needs, a bus duct electrical system was installed, ensuring reliable power distribution. Finally, a comprehensive heat and air conditioning system was implemented to maintain a comfortable and productive working environment throughout the year.
This new manufacturing facility represents a significant investment in expanding production capabilities and enhancing operational efficiency. Its sustainable design and modern features contribute to a positive and productive work environment for employees.
