HBD Construction Merges with Russell to Fuel Strategic Growth
HBD Construction, one of St. Louis, Missouri’s oldest contractors, has officially merged with Russell.
Mike Perry, Executive Vice President and former President of HBD, says, “This is great news for our team and our clients. Our company is looking forward to growing our capabilities in St. Louis after 100 years in the community. Joining the Russell family will allow us to continue to serve our clients in St. Louis and other regions with new technologies and expanded services.”
The two companies both value building great people, relationships and community and have worked on similar project types, including multi-family, senior living, healthcare and retail. HBD brings long-standing local relationships, which complements the presence Russell has been building in the St. Louis area. Both companies have been positioned for growth in recent years.
Chris Krieg, Chief Construction Officer of Russell, commented, “We are very excited to solidify our presence in St. Louis. As a family-owned construction company, community is vital to everything we do. We look forward to building stronger relationships with our customers and subcontractors while giving back to the St. Louis area.” Sam Russell, Pre-Construction Manager for Russell, has relocated to St. Louis to work closely with subcontractors and lead pre-construction through a new chapter for the company.
HBD was founded in St. Louis in 1922 and has a 100-year history of providing quality pre-construction and general contracting services across the area.
