Russell served as the General Contractor for Dogwood Social Commons, a 15,420 s.f. new retail strip center in St. Louis, Missouri. The project includes construction of a new multi-tenant building designed to accommodate six tenant spaces, including a Chipotle with drive-thru, with remaining suites prepared for future tenant buildouts.
The work includes full site development with demolition, earthwork, grading, and installation of utilities to support the new facility and surrounding infrastructure. Site improvements include construction of three retaining walls, a new access drive to a side road, parking areas, and coordination of DOT upgrades including new sidewalks and a traffic signal.
The building features CMU wall construction with a combination of Nichiha, EIFS, and stone veneer exterior finishes. Russell coordinated closely with adjacent contractors sharing site access, relocated existing utilities, including a power pole to accommodate sanitary work, and worked with all union trade partners to deliver a flexible retail environment positioned for future tenant occupancy.
