Russell's 35th Annual charity golf outing
A rain delay and a little fog didn’t stop us from having a fantastic day on the green for our 35th Annual Charity Golf Outing!
The generosity of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers resulted in a record-breaking donation of $54,000 to this year’s charity, Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities!
Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is dedicated to building thriving communities. For 30 years, the local organization has served low-income families with the construction of affordable homes.
In addition, Habitat QC has a home repair program and an accessibility ramp program, serving 30-40 households each year. Habitat operates ReStore and Health and Home to support operations and programs, and heavily relies on the support of donors and thousands of community volunteers each year to fulfill the mission.
For the past 35 years, Russell has proudly hosted our signature charity golf outing, a cornerstone event that has contributed over $740,000 to the local Quad Cities non-profit community.
Please enjoy this recap of the event!
A NOTE FROM HABITAT FROM HUMANITY QUAD CITIES
“On behalf of Habitat for Humanity QC, I want to give my many thanks, along with my sincere appreciation to Jim & Michelle Russell, all the sponsors, volunteers, and players who made the 35th Annual Russell Charity Golf Outing an overwhelming success.
We are fortunate to have all of you as part of our great Quad Cities community and part of Habitat. Habitat homes provide families an opportunity to exit the cycle of poverty, not only by having a home with payments they can afford, but by gaining an asset that builds wealth for the family. Your participation and generous donations will go to good use making home ownership affordable in the Quad Cities. Thank you for helping us build thriving communities!”
