Russell Sponsors the 2025 Quad-City Times Bix 7 Beat the Elite

Russell is proud to sponsor Beat the Elite as part of this year’s Quad-City Times Bix 7—an event that celebrates health, livability, and the vibrant spirit of the Quad Cities community.

Each year, the Quad- City Times Bix 7 draws thousands of runners to Davenport, Iowa for one of the most iconic road races in the country. As part of the race-day excitement, Russell’s Beat the Elite gives two local runners the chance to go head-to-head with the best. Selected “Beat the Elite” athletes will receive a head start based on a competitive handicap. If either runner crosses the finish line before the overall race winner, they’ll walk away with $2,500!

“A big part of our role is to inspire—within our company, our children, and our grandchildren—the importance of giving back. The best way to do that is by showing them the impact it can have,” Michelle Russell shared during a press conference on Wednesday, April 9.
