Ribbon Cutting: Element Hotel Moline

Ribbon Cutting: Element Hotel – Moline, IL

We had the pleasure of celebrating the completion of the newly renovated and historic Element Hotel by Westin on Thursday, March 15th with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.

Originally a 100-year old warehouse in downtown Moline, the Element is now an eco-friendly, extended stay hotel fe

aturing 75 suites, 21 standard rooms, a fitness room, two meeting rooms, and a saline swimming pool.  This project marks the first Element Hotel in the state of Illinois and the first and only historic adaptive re-use for the brand. Many of the elements of the historic warehouse are still present through each room’s unique display of red brick walls, pillars, and pipes. All 96 hotel rooms have a full kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, stovetop and sink. The hotel also offers unique amenities such as the Bikes to Borrow program, grocery delivery services, and complimentary organic wine and beer. This location is also a part of “The Q,” which in the next few years will be a train station that connects the Quad Cities to Chicago.

It is very apparen

t that this historically renovated hotel will greatly impact the Quad Cities community by providing a convenient location for guests to reside. Russell is very proud to have been a part of this project!
