Ribbon Cutting: VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic - Baraboo
After 12 months of ground-up construction, the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital has officially opened the new Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Baraboo, Wisconsin!
The 10,000 s.f. facility is twice the size of the previous Baraboo clinic, allowing for increased access to healthcare for local Veterans. The building’s design includes a large space in the center for healthcare providers to collaborate and exam rooms around the perimeter.
The new clinic features 10 exam rooms, a dedicated physical therapy space, a specialized women’s exam room equipped with a patient lift, a laboratory, and a telehealth area. The clinic will employ over 30 Department of Veterans Affairs Employees.
The Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (VA CBOC) will serve approximately 5,000 veterans from numerous surrounding counties. It will offer a wide range of services, including Primary Care, Physical and Occupational Therapies, Nutrition Counseling, Whole Health Programs, Mental Health Services, Podiatry Nail Care, Telehealth Consultations, Social Work Support, and Laboratory Blood Draw Services. This clinic represents a significant investment in the health and well-being of our Veterans, ensuring they receive the high-quality care they deserve.
The Baraboo clinic marks the eleventh VA CBOC that Russell has delivered across the country. The clinic was delivered in partnership with Coharbor Group LLC and Russell’s Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) partnership, Coharbor Russell Group LLC.
