Coharbor russell group, llc officially certified
Coharbor Group LLC and Russell are pleased to announce they have entered into a Joint Venture agreement to expand their capabilities in providing the federal government with build-to-suit commercial real estate development and facility operations. This new joint venture, named Coharbor Russell Group LLC, was officially approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Small Business Administration as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) on October 30, 2021.
The joint venture is led by Jacob Anderson, a former Major in the US Air Force and F-15E fighter pilot and founder of Coharbor Group. Jacob has over 14 years of experience operating and growing dynamic fast-paced organizations including multiple $100 M+ operations as an officer in the US Air Force, venture-funded startups, and traditional small businesses.
Russell Government Group, LLC is a registered affiliate of Russell that primarily focuses on procurement and delivery of real estate development pursuits for state, local and the federal government. Based out of Davenport, Iowa, Russell has delivered numerous projects for the federal government, including projects for the General Services Administration, Social Security Administration, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Numerous Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC’s) for the VA are included in Russell’s portfolio, including in Galesburg, IL, Spirit Lake, IA, Fort Dodge, IA, Mason City, IA, and Norfolk, NE.
Together, the Coharbor Russell Group venture will leverage their extensive knowledge and resources to better achieve “On-Time” and “On-Target” build-to-suit projects for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and General Services Administration.

Prior to the joint venture agreement being approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Russell had the opportunity to provide mentorship services to Coharbor on two successful Community Based Outpatient Clinic pursuits in Spirit Lake and Mason City, Iowa.
