Partnering with habitat for humanity quad cities to build great communities

After ten months of construction and 250 hours of sweat equity, Nancy Trice is officially a homeowner!

On June 10, 2023, Preconstruction Executive, Aaron Kendall, represented Russell in a dedication ceremony for the 127th Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities build in Rock Island, Illinois. As an organization on a mission to build great communities, we are thrilled to co-sponsor the build that resulted in Nancy’s new home. 

For 30 years, Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has played a vital role in improving access to affordable housing in the area by building homes that partner families purchase with a zero interest mortgage and affordable monthly payments.  

While we are proud to support Habitat for Humanity financially, our team members also love the chance to roll up their sleeves on Build Day to directly help families in our community.

Last month, several Russell team members spent a day building wheelchair ramps, grading, seeding, demoing a deck, removing, and refinishing trim boards at three Habitat locations across the Quad Cities. 

We are also excited to announce that Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is the charity of choice of the 35th Annual Russell Charity Golf Outing!
