Matt Sayre JOINS AS Chief Operating Officer
We are thrilled to announce our newest team member – Matt Sayre!
Matt Sayre joins Russell as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing operations in all three markets, including Quad Cities, St. Louis, and Kansas City. Matt brings over 24 years of construction industry experience in executive leadership, project management, and business development. Prior to joining Russell, Matt was most recently the Vice President of Construction Operations – Multifamily & Senior Living at Ryan Companies office in Minneapolis, MN.
In his new role, Matt will oversee all operations functions, including construction project management, preconstruction services, field operations, and business development. As an executive team member, Matt will also help to execute our strategic plan and ensure our operations are aligned with our overall business objectives. As a key executive leader, Matt will furthermore be instrumental in mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders at Russell.

Matt carries to Russell a deep portfolio of expertise in high-quality and amenity rich multifamily and senior living facilities, including overseeing over $1.4 billion in projects while in his last role. A graduate of Minnesota State University, Matt brings a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, and numerous recognitions including being named as a Building Design & Construction Magazine 40 under 40 (2021) and a certified Eagle Scouts.
