
GROUNDBREAKING: LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL SOUTH Jubel Center for the Arts
Lutheran South High School in St. Louis, MO officially broke ground on their new Jubel Center for the Arts on Wednesday, May 3rd. The 42,540 s.f. addition will be home to a new 626-seat performing arts theater, music room, and art studio that will highlight the school’s visual and performing arts program. This facility will also feature a FEMA rated storm shelter, administrative offices, second story flex space, and a secure grand entrance to the school.
The groundbreaking ceremony included a chapel service followed by live performances from the Lutheran High School South Choir and Band, as well as a speech from Congresswoman Ann Wagner. “This new center will be a great resource for the students, and I am looking forward to seeing all the artistic talent that will grow out of it,” stated Ms. Wagner on her social media account.
This $18 MM project is expected to be completed in November 2024, 18 months from the groundbreaking.
