Groundbreaking: Ascentra Credit Union
Nearly 150 individuals gathered on Thursday, May 31st to witness the official groundbreaking of the new home office and financial center for Ascentra Credit Union in Bettendorf, IA.
This new 40,205 s.f. structure will stand four stories high and feature a partial glass and aluminum exterior, open, collaborative workspaces and a breathtaking view of the Mississippi. The new building will offer a community room for educational seminars and gatherings on the first floor, and social spaces located throughout in accordance with the Q2030 Regional Action Plan, which aims to create a cool, creative, connected, and prosperous region.
“This masterpiece is going to dictate the new standard by which all office buildings should be designed and constructed. We are extremely honored to play such a vital role in the development and construction of the new home office for Ascentra Credit Union,” stated Jim Russell, President and CEO of Russell Construction. “This state-of-the art office is going to transform downtown Bettendorf.”
Ascentra’s new home office is expected to be completed sometime next summer, and we are so proud to be partnering with them once again to bring another project to life.
