Russell Welcomes Joe Burch as Vice President of Operations, Kansas City
Russell is excited to announce that Joe Burch, LEED AP BD+C, has joined the firm as Vice President of Operations for the Kansas City office. In this role, Joe will provide strategic direction and leadership for all construction operations in Kansas City, working closely with preconstruction, business development, and executive leadership to drive the office’s continued growth and success.
Joe brings 26 years of construction industry experience, having entered the industry in 2000. Throughout his career, he has led complex projects from preconstruction and budgeting through field execution and closeout, building a portfolio of more than 2 million s.f. of government, senior living, multifamily, retail, and fueling construction nationwide. His background spans large-scale military exchange projects for the U.S. Army, Air Force, and Space Force, senior living and assisted living communities, multifamily residential developments, and retail and industrial facilities across the country.

In his new role, Joe will oversee project management and field operations to ensure projects delivered out of Russell’s Kansas City office meet the highest standards of quality, schedule, and cost control. He will also work directly with clients to strengthen relationships and support the office’s continued expansion.

Joe is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction, holds an OSHA 30-Hour certification and a NASCLA Commercial General Building Contractor certification, and is active in the Associated General Contractors of America, the Kansas Contractors Association, and the American Society of Professional Estimators. He is also involved in the community through Park University Command & General Staff College Foundation and Synergy Services.
