Russell proudly announces multiple honors received at the Master Builders of Iowa Excellence Awards luncheon.
Russell was recognized with the Outstanding Company Safety Achievement Award, a distinction that reflects the company’s commitment to safety across every jobsite and office. This award highlights Russell’s culture of care, accountability, and vigilance, reinforcing that safety is not simply a priority, but a shared core value embedded in daily operations.
In addition to the company-wide recognition, Superintendent Jared Allen was named Safety MVP Award recipient. Allen’s leadership in the field and dedication to protecting team members and trade partners exemplify the highest standard of safety excellence. His proactive approach and commitment to accountability continue to set the tone for project teams across the organization.

Russell also celebrated the event’s highest project honor. The KENT WORLDWIDE McKee Project received the prestigious Master Builders of Iowa Award of Excellence, recognizing exceptional teamwork, craftsmanship, and execution.
“Safety and excellence do not happen by accident. They are the result of disciplined leadership, strong partnerships, and a team that truly cares about one another,” said Caitlin Russell, President of Russell. “I am proud of our people for living our values every day and for delivering work that reflects both craftsmanship and character. These honors represent what is possible when we align purpose with performance.”
Russell led the Design-Build historic renovation of the McKee Building for Kent Corporation in Muscatine, Iowa, transforming a former button factory into modern office space for Precision Foods and Pet Group employees. The project preserved the building’s historic character while delivering an inspiring and highly functional work environment.

The recognized project team includes Bill Wilson, Jacob Rockey, Dan Cassidy, Cody Stabler, Wendy Rouse, Brian Harry, Emiley Luckey, Lucas Hayes, Erik Stenzel, Matt Rebro, Drew Curtis, and numerous additional contributors whose collaboration and craftsmanship were instrumental to the project’s success. Trade partners on the project included Shive-Hattery, Bi-State Masonry, Inc., Tri-City Group, Allied Construction, Ryan & Associates, Prime Construction Services, Wadsworth Construction, Pearl City Wood Products, and D&N Hardwood Flooring.
“Moments like this reinforce what makes Russell special — our people, our culture, and our commitment to doing things the right way,” said Jim Russell, CEO of Russell. “These awards belong to every team member who takes pride in their work and shows up each day committed to excellence.”
