As Vice President of Business Development, Austin leads Russell’s growth efforts across the Quad Cities and surrounding markets, focused on identifying high-value opportunities, pursuing new work, and strengthening long-term client partnerships.

Austin joined Russell after 10 years in the commercial banking industry, where he developed deep experience in commercial real estate and development financing. His background provides clients with a strong understanding of project feasibility, capital planning, and economic development funding strategies. In his role, Austin works closely with owners, developers, and project teams to align business objectives with constructability, risk management, and successful project execution.

Having grown up in the Quad Cities, Austin is passionate about the region’s growth and exhibits that drive within numerous networking groups in the area.
