Promotions - Moving on up!

Russell is very pleased to announce the promotion of several team members in Q2 2024!

ALEC JENSEN – Project Executive

Alec has been promoted to Project Executive in the Quad Cities office!  Alec began his career at Russell as an intern and started full-time as a Project Engineer in 2016.  Most recently, Alec has led large teams as a Senior Project Manager. Alec is a valued INNOVATION leader who has quarterbacked key operational initiatives. In his new role, Alec will continue to lead project teams, develop team members, and drive operational initiatives.

JASON FAHRENKROG Senior Preconstruction Manager

Jason has been promoted to Senior Preconstruction Manager! Jason joined Russell in 2022 after spending many years in the interior systems trade as a carpenter, estimator, and project manager. Jason has made a significant impact since joining the Russell team. Jason exemplifies the core value of CLIENT-CENTRIC with his ability to connect with clients and deliver excellence. 

COLE JORDAN – Senior Project Manager

Cole has been promoted to Senior Project Manager!  Cole began his career at Russell as a Project Engineer in 2014.  Over the years, he has completed projects most notably for Government/VA clients. Cole is currently in a lead role as a mentor for the Russell Performance Group (RPG), leading the charge in creating and documenting initiatives in RPG and companywide!

AUBREY TRAN – Project Manager

Aubrey has been promoted to Project Manager!  Aubrey started her career at Russell as a VDC Specialist in 2021, switching to operations in 2022. Aubrey is currently working on the Federal Courthouse project in Rock Island. Aubrey has extensive knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems, having worked as a designer for an engineering firm before joining Russell.

DON BELL – Project Manager 

Don has been promoted to Project Manager!  Donald started his career at Russell as a Project Engineer in February of 2023.  He is a key team member and is eager to continually improve project execution. Don lives our core value of INNOVATION by raising his hand and testing new processes contributing to Russell’s development of best practices.

TREVOR REED – Project Manager

Trevor has been promoted to Project Manager. Trevor started at Russell as an intern in 2020 and joined Russell full-time as a Project Engineer in 2022.  Trevor embodies our core value of CLIENT-CENTRIC by earning the trust of our clients and striving for excellence each day. 

 

ELIOTT SCHAEFER – Project Manager

Eliott has been promoted to Project Manager!  Eliott started his career at Russell as a Project Engineer in 2018 as an Assistant Superintendent. He made the transition to Project Engineer in 2022. Eliott is actively engaged in the COMMUNITY participating in many charitable organizations and events, including the United Way Quad Cities. 

JIM MCKINNEY– Superintendent

Jim has been promoted to Superintendent! Jim started his Russell career as a Foreman in 2022. During his time at Russell, Jim has completed many successful projects, creating fans along the way. Jim displays his CLIENT-CENTRIC approach every day during the construction and successful completion of each project, overcoming any hurdles that may arise. 

MARK GILMOUR – Assistant Superintendent

Mark has been promoted to Assistant Superintendent. Mark has made a huge impact since joining Russell just over a year and a half ago. He has led our Russell Performance Group teams on several recent projects and is a great asset in the field, providing his problem-solving skills and INNOVATIVE solutions. 

 

RICHARD DOLLAR – General Foreman

Richard has been promoted to General Foreman!  Richard’s ability to coordinate, collaborate, and help keep the job moving is paramount to delivering excellence in each project he is a part of.  Rick’s can-do attitude and workmanship highlight his CLIENT-CENTRIC values!

 

BEN ROSE – Superintendent 

Ben has been promoted to Superintendent! During Ben’s almost 20 years with Russell, he has shown his dedication and work ethic. Ben started as an apprentice carpenter in 2005, and most recently became an Assistant Superintendent. Ben is always displaying his CLIENT-CENTRIC values and proving his capabilities by driving projects forward.
