Russell Ranks on ENR Top 400 Contractors List
2019 was another record-breaking year for Russell, ending with 30 percent growth in revenue and earning a spot at #380 on the Engineering News Record’s (ENR) Top 400 Contractor’s list for 2020. This annual ranking by the ENR is based on revenues generated the previous year from contractors around the United States.
Russell’s success in 2019 can be attributed to our focus on all six of our core values, but the one in particular that we’d like to highlight is Client Centric. Our clients and partners are a big reason we earned a spot on this ranking. They’ve put their trust in us because every day we strive to always put them first.

Russell had several notable projects finish in 2019, including IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union’s Corporate Headquarters in Moline, IL, and a State of Florida Leaseback in Tallahassee, FL.
In mid-August 2019, construction of the new 90,000 s.f., four-story IH Mississippi Valley Corporate Headquarters was completed. Russell provided complete program management services while also acting as the design/builder to assist IHMVCU in project definition, programming, site analysis, municipal entitlement coordination and pro forma development. This incredible facility overlooks the Mississippi River and serves as a great model of a high-quality development and corporate headquarters.
As 2019 neared completion, the development and construction of one of Russell’s largest projects to date began wrapping up over 1,000 miles away in Tallahassee, FL. This project was both developed and constructed by Russell, consisting of three buildings totaling 160,920 s.f. These three buildings are all long-term leases with the State of Florida and include the Department of Transportation, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Division of Retirement Services. We look forward to continuing to extend our reach at home in the Quad Cities, while serving new markets.
