Ribbon Cutting: Rivermont Collegiate STEAM Center

Ribbon Cutting: Rivermont Collegiate

Congratulations to Rivermont Collegiate on the grand opening of the all-new STEAM Center! Their official ribbon cutting ceremony occurred Monday, August 26th in Bettendorf, just in time for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Following an extremely aggressive schedule, Rivermont Collegiate’s STEAM Center consists of dorm rooms and classrooms created to enhance the learning community.

“We broke ground in the middle of February coming out of one of the worst Winters on record and into the worst Spring. We lost three weeks of work due to weather, and despite this, completed a 3-story, 30,000 square foot building in 6 months!” Jim Russell

The facility houses 12 double occupancy dorm rooms, 2 dorm parent apartments and a commons area as well as features biology, chemistry, math, technology, maker space and band classrooms.

Thank you, Rivermont Collegiate, for trusting Russell as your construction partner!
