Ribbon Cutting: Home2 Suites
Congratulations to Frontier Hospitality’s Home2 Suites on their July 30th grand opening and ribbon-cutting! The groundbreaking day for Home2 Suites was the most beautiful, the ribbon-cutting was a close second, and almost every day in between was not so sightly. We lost 49 construction days due to weather, had 20” above average precipitation and experienced a 128⁰F difference between the high and low temperatures over the duration of construction, but our team came together and delivered this project on-time and on-budget.
Once the iconic Jumer’s Castle Lodge, this prime piece of real estate suffered in its previously dilapidated condition and sparked the catalyst for change. The grand opening of Home2 Suites marks the completion of the first phase of the site’s continued revitalization process. Russell’s long-time client, Frontier Hospitality Group, proceeds as the hotel’s operator, carrying its strong reputation and outstanding products.
With I-74 as the economic spine of the Quad Cities’ trade area, Home2 Suites’ is positioned in a bull’s-eye location that is both accessible and eye-catching. This four-story, all-suite, extended stay hotel consists of 107 room where all guest suites include a variety of modern features and amenities. Each of the rooms is equipped with fully accessorized kitchenettes, spacious bathrooms and flexible working space. The hotel also features and indoor pool, multiple outdoor patios, an outdoor grilling area, guest laundry and a fitness center.
Thank you, Frontier Hospitality Group, for continuing your longtime partnership!
