Construction of a new 62,000 s.f. five-story low-income senior housing facility with 52 units. The first floor includes administrative offices, recreation areas and tenant spaces. Floors two through five include the 52 senior living apartments.
Russell collaborated closely with the owner and design team to formulate a phased building strategy on an extremely confined site. The first phase included the construction of a new five-story apartment building within a few feet of an occupied 10-story building. The residents of the existing 10-story building relocated to the new building before demolition.
