In the News: virtual reality helps visualize new construction

On Tuesday, July 10th Russell’s Director of Virtual Construction, Becca Frangipane, appeared on this week’s edition of the Quad Cities Chamber On the Record regarding her presentation at the Hub Huddle on Friday, July 13th.  The event is being organized by the Quad City Chamber of Commerce through their Manufacturing Innovation Hub, which allows manufacturing leaders to share new practices and technology that will allow for strategic growth in the manufacturing industry.

Becca will be co-presenting with Rebecca Jourdan of Shive-Hattery on “Leveraging Virtual Reality in the Built Environment.” Becca shared with On the Record that they will be discussing how they can enable clients to “step into their building” before it’s actually constructed, allowing for more proactive planning and decision making.

We look forward to watching both Becca’s co-present on Friday, July 13th at Birchwood Learning Center.  To watch the full story, follow the link: QC Chamber on the Record: Virtual reality helps visualize new construction
