Groundbreaking: North Scott Community YMCA
On Tuesday, March 30th we officially broke ground on the new North Scott Community YMCA in Eldridge, IA. This groundbreaking comes on the heels of the completion of the new R. Richard Bittner YMCA in downtown Davenport.
We are so excited to be the builder on another community icon project – this time for the City of Eldridge. The new 43,500 s.f. fitness center will be located on East LeClaire Road and 3rd Avenue in Eldridge. It will house a six-lane competition pool, basketball courts and a track and is expected to open Spring of 2022. The new building will allow North Scott High School to create its own swimming team.
This project was made possible by a partnership between the City of Eldridge, North Scott Community School District and the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley, and we are excited to be partnering with Legat Architects to make this exciting project come to life!
