Groundbreaking: Holiday Inn and Suites Hotel & Conference Center
A little gloomy weather couldn’t keep a crowd from gathering on Tuesday, June 19th to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the new $25 million Holiday Inn and Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Cedar Falls, IA.
This new 83,500 s.f., four-story hotel is the first phase of the new Gateway Business Park in Cedar Falls. It will feature 126 guest rooms including single king, double queen and suites with separate living and sleeping areas and kitchenettes. Amenities in the hotel will include a full-service bistro and bar, conference rooms, swimming pool, exercise room, lounge, business center and guest laundry facilities. The new 14,000 sf conference center will have the ability to be divided and hold up to 1,000 people with 9,000 sf of prefunction area and 16,000 sf of outdoor courtyards.
The hotel is expected to be completed by next summer, and we are very excited to be bringing this project to life for the Cedar Falls community.
