A4LE LearningScapes with Moline-Coal Valley School District No. 40
At Russell, we believe giving back to our communities and clients is an essential part of everyday business. This can be accomplished in many ways, through an event sponsorship, donation or knowledge sharing through a conference or tradeshow.
Recently, Russell sponsored Moline-Coal Valley School District’s Assistant Principal at Hamilton Elementary, Lynsy Oswald, to attend the Association of Learning Environments (A4LE) International Conference in Anaheim, CA. Through our many years of experience in working with school districts and their programming for facilities projects, we have learned providing opportunities for educators to find new and unique ways to gain knowledge is important.
At this conference, Ms. Oswald was able to interact with other educators from around the world to share successes in creating new learning environments, but also how her staff utilize their recently renovated modern instruction designed facility and how it has impacted their school operations. During the conference, session presenters even sought her feedback and opinions on her experiences on the many topics being discussed.
Upon returning from the conference Lynsy and Steve Baumann, Vice President at Russell, co-presented to the Moline-Coal Valley School District administration and Board Cabinet members on what they learned on how Lynsy plans to incorporate this information into her education processes. This process allowed Ms. Oswald to gain and expand her network of educators to benefit her and the Moline-Coal Valley School District well into the future.
At Russell, we believe in providing learning resources to not only our employees, but our clients. Learning is a critical part of growth, something we are personally passionate about.
