Russell is very pleased to announce the promotion of several team members in Q1 2024!

 

ERIN MARSH – Senior Project Manager

Since joining the Russell team in 2019, Erin has jumped in and led major projects including the award-winning University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art project. Erin is currently leading the team at Muscatine Community School District to renovate and construct projects at six locations. Erin creates raving fans through her CLIENT-CENTRIC approach and drives results. She is also a key advocate for Russell in the Iowa City market working to expand our reach and services.

 

JOE WILLIAMS Senior Project Manager

Joe joined Russell in 2022 bringing years of success on commercial and industrial projects and an entrepreneurial spirit having owned his own business.  He has quickly grown into a proven project leader who always operates with INTEGRITY.  Joe has created raving fans on his projects including the Courtyard by Marriott for Frontier Hospitality.

 

JACOB ROCKEY – Project Manager

Jacob started his career at Russell as a Project Engineer in February 2023 after working at other local and national general contractors. He leads with INNOVATION by sharing new ways to accomplish our project management tasks, and he has shown his commitment to being CLIENT CENTRIC as he works together with our owners’ rep on a current project.

 

BRIAN JESS – Project Manager

Brian began his career at Russell as an intern in 2017 and started full-time as a Project Engineer in 2019.  Over the years, he has completed projects for Vintage Co-Op (Altoona and Bettendorf) and multiple projects for one of our key clients. Brian leads with INTEGRITY and transparency!

 

 

MICHAEL BROWN – Project Manager 

Since joining Russell, Michael has filled the needs of a variety of projects, always being flexible and willing to provide assistance. Most recently, Michael is demonstrating his commitment to being CLIENT-CENTRIC while filling the roles of both Project Manager and Superintendent on a current project. Michael’s dedication to delivering quality projects results in delighted clients, providing opportunities for a long-standing partnership. 

 

ADAM SCHEER – Senior Preconstruction Manager

Adam joined the Russell team in September of 2021. During his tenure, Adam has steadily progressed from an individual contributor to the designated preconstruction leader of our VA leaseback projects. He is largely responsible for the proposal submissions and design phase management duties that are required to propel these projects to success. Adam is well known for his CLIENT CENTRIC approach to our internal and external development clients. 

 

EMILEY LUCKEY – Senior Project Coordinator

Emiley joined Russell as an experienced Project Coordinator in February 2023.  Her expansive PC knowledge was instrumental in the success of the Courtyard by Marriott project, and she continues to provide high-level assistance to the Muscatine Schools, North Scott Schools, Riverdale Schools, and Unity Point Mulberry Clinic teams. She often shares her knowledge and experience by mentoring and training team members and co-workers. 

 

JT BUCY – Self-Perform Superintendent

In JT’s new role, he will help to manage our self-perform projects and mentor our team members. JT joined Russell in 2008 and has recently provided leadership to self-perform crews.  JT’s focus on the self-perform team allows us to stay committed to a high level of SAFETY.  We are excited for JT to have a larger role in developing our next generation of field leaders!

 

TIM SMITH – MEP System Specialist

Tim joined Russell in 2015 with valuable experience as a mechanical subcontractor.  His new role will better align his strengths with project needs across the company. As MEP System Specialist, Tim will support project teams with preconstruction, operations, and commissioning activities as well as leading INNOVATIVE training initiatives.

 

TAYLOR MOON – Senior VDC Manager

Taylor joined the Russell team in May of 2021. During his tenure, Taylor has proven to be a tremendous VDC resource for the entire Russell organization. He has captained the VDC process for many of Russell’s largest and most complex projects to date.  Taylor truly exhibits the Russell core value of INNOVATION as he is always on the lookout for the latest cutting-edge technology that will benefit our internal team members and external clients. In his spare time, you can find Taylor educating new hires, clients, design partners, and trade contractors on the importance and benefits of Russell VDC services. 

 

STEVE OGDEN – Superintendent 

Steve has been a key team member of the Buck O’Neil Education & Research Center project. His long-standing relationship with the owner highlights his CLIENT-CENTRIC approach and dedication to creating quality client relationships. 

 

 

 

BEN DAY – Assistant Superintendent

Ben’s dedication and exemplary work ethic over the past two years have not only made him an invaluable asset to our team but have also set a standard of excellence and SAFETY.  His commitment to excellence is further exemplified by his frequent travels across the country on behalf of Russell and his extraordinary level of production.

 

 

KURTIS MCCUTCHEON – Assistant Superintendent

Kurtis, with his hands-on carpentry skills and effective communication style, has significantly contributed to our projects.  His growth and dedication over the past few years, coupled with his extensive travels, make him an asset to our team. Kurtis’ dedication to SAFETY exemplifies his commitment to our shared success. 

 

JOSH MOREHEAD – Assistant Superintendent

Throughout Josh’s 18-year tenure at Russell, he has grown as a leader in the field.  As Foreman, he has been vital in SAFELY executing several large projects most recently on the Blackhawk College team. In this new role, we are excited to see what Josh can do as he takes his leadership skills to the next level.

 

JACOB BAUER – Assistant Superintendent 

Jacob started his construction career as a carpenter and has continued to grow through the years. Most recently, Jacob was instrumental in the Cargo Largo project, highlighting his INNOVATIVE strategies and dedication to excellence. 

 

 

 

RANDY LILLARD – Assistant Superintendent 

Randy’s high level of INTEGRITY has ensured that a quality project is delivered every time. Clients are continually impressed with his drive to go the extra mile for them, which has led to several repeat clients, highlighting his CLIENT-CENTRIC nature.
