Construction Services

Pre-Construction:

Time is money, so we are careful not to waste either. Our clients have come to expect and value the time and importance we place in the pre-construction phase of the project.

Some of the standard services we provide include:

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Analyses. Sustainable building design is becoming easier to understand, and more practical to implement. Even if you choose not to register your project through the United States Green Building Council, Russell’s LEED Accredited Professionals can conduct analyses on proposed and alternate building materials, and recommend materials and methods that are friendly to both long-term building function and our environment.

Estimating. Our Certified Professional Estimators will work with you to establish reliable, bankable budgets that allow multiple ‘what if’ scenarios. Rather than blanket the entire project estimate with a percentage contingency, we will evaluate the key risk areas and apply appropriate contingency to each of these items.

Design. Our Design Department is structured to provide full-service in-house design, space planning, and interior design capabilities. We have a reputation for problem solving, innovative, yet pragmatic design, and solid team involvement. Our designers utilize AutoDesk AutoCAD 2008 with Revit Building software to maximize production and quality control.

Value Engineering. As a process that starts in pre-construction and continues throughout the life of the project, alternate construction materials and systems comparisons are studied to determine potential benefit based on value, cost, time, operations and maintenance costs, constructability and quality.

Scheduling. Much to the delight of our clients, our projects are completed on time with a large majority finishing days – sometimes weeks – ahead of schedule. Both master and milestone schedules are produced up front to help your team manage their time with limited disruptions due to construction activity. Throughout the duration of your project, we prepare two week look-ahead schedules and review it with your staff to keep them apprised of any changes. You are guaranteed direct communication with the right people at the right points of your project.

Construction.

Competent on-site project coordination, disciplined communication and rapid response are the reasons why our construction process runs smoothly. We provide solutions and keep you posted weekly and monthly. Our full-time, on-site field team proactively works with our suppliers and subcontractors to manage site staff and general construction execution.

Curious about costs? Our open book policy allows our clients to generate and maintain all cost accounting records (unit pricing, equipment, etc.) and review them regularly to confirm that your costs are “on-target”.


Post-Construction.

It’s your building, and you should feel as comfortable in it as we do building it. As your project nears completion, we take the appropriate steps to make sure that each member of your team is knowledgeable and comfortable with your facility’s operation. Through final tours for workmanships satisfaction, operation systems checks, and review of Operations & Maintenance manuals reviews, you will have peace of mind knowing the function of your facility inside and out.
