Community Involvement
Beyond construction, Russell employees share their time, talents and resources to positively impact the communities in which we live, work and play. We do this by building relationships, inspiring youth, and promoting goodwill both inside and outside the company. The diverse needs of the communities in which we work, the interests of our employees, and the goals and values of the company drive Russell’s community support and activities.
Our employees support community initiatives through various avenues: cash donations, sponsorships, raffle item donations, in-kind donations and volunteer time. Programs near and dear to our hearts range from The American Cancer Society and United Way, to Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity. In total, Russell Construction’s individual team members contribute volunteer leadership and participation in more than seventy non-profit organizations, and give back more than 1,000 hours to the community each year as a company.
As a core value, our charge is to foster a good place to live, work, raise and educate children. We want to be known as the industry leader in professional services. We also want to be known for being good corporate citizens. To that end, we will continue to use our resources and our resolve to make the communities in which we live, work and play a better place for everyone.
