Company History

Fresh out of college and armed with a Construction Engineering degree, a fledging construction portfolio and $10,000, Jim Russell followed his passion for the industry and his entrepreneurial instincts by founding Russell Construction Company, Inc.

Established in 1983 with two employees and $141,000 in sales, the company has seen consistent growth over the past 25 years. To date, we have completed projects in several markets across 28 states and have been recognized by Engineering News Record Magazine as one of the largest 400 contractors in the nation, and Inc Magazine’s INC 500 listing of America’s fastest growing companies.

With two offices and sales of more than $145 million, our company continues its forward motion by focusing on the recruitment and development of excellent people, operational excellence and pride in the communities we serve.
