Russell began traveling around the United States to complete work.

Construction began on the first of 20 Super Saver Cinemas with locations all across the country.

The first of seven Younkers retail stores began. These projects would keep Russell busy for the next 10 years.

Largest repeat client in 1987 becomes GNC. Construction began on 14 locations across the United States, totaling $450,000.

The Department of Defense issued Russell their first federal government contract on the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois.

Russell was recognized by Inc. Magazine on their INC 500 Listing as one America's fastest growing private companies.

The Younkers Store at South Park Mall becomes Russell's largest project on record at $984,000.

1991
The first $1,000,000 project was the Super Saver Cinema in Seal Beach, CA.

1992
Russell completes their first healthcare project with St. Luke's Hopsital in Cedar Rapids, IA, valued at $10,000.

1993
Russell has two $1,500,000 projects at Earnest Machine in Davenport, IA and Smith & Filter in Moline, IL.

1994
The first $2,000,000 dollar project was awarded - Arch Aluminum & Glass in Bettendorf, IA.

1995
IPSCO Steel retained Russell for a variety of projects from 1995-2004 that totaled over $25,000,000.

1996
Relationship with Genesis Medical Center begins. To date Russell has delivered over $38,800,000 in projects.

1997
Construction begins on the first of 14 Von Maur stores located across the country. Russell completed over $85,000,000 in projects for Von Maur.

1998
Russell begins construction on its first educational facility, Bergendoff Hall at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL - $1,600,000

1999
Russell revenues exceeded $50,000,000.

2000
A relationship with John Deere begins with the first of five projects kicking off. To date, Russell has compelted over $22,000,000 in projects for John Deere.

Construction began on the first of 29 Walgreens stores in IA & IL - $42,000,000

2002
Relationship with Monmouth College began. To date Russell has delivered over $53,000,000 in projects on the educational campus.

Figge Art Museum project began - $35,500,000

2004
Having outgrown their existing office space, Russell built a new award-winning office building located in the Birchwood Fields Office Park at 4600 E. 53rd Street, Davenport, IA.

2005
Construction completed on the first LEED Silver Certified School in the state of Iowa, James Van Allen Elementary in Iowa City, IA - $8,000,000

2006
FedEx signed Russell to build four facilities located in IL, TX & OH - total contract amount $41,500,000

2007
Veterans Affairs Community Living Center in Des Moines, IA project began - $25,300,000

2008
Russell is awarded the third IDIQ Task Order Contract from the Department of Defense at the Rock Island Arsenal. The total value of all contracts delivered is $89,000,000.

2009
IA Biz Magazine features Russell as 'One of the Best Iowa Businesses of 2009.'

2010
90% of Russell's Project Management Staff receives LEED Accredidation from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Russell awarded largest contract to date, 10 year / $110,000,000 Master Planning contract with Galesburg Community Unit School District #205 in Galesburg, IL.

Russell Construction break's ground on the Center for Student Life at Augustana College - a state-of-the-art $20M library, cafeteria and student center.
