In the News: The Putnam Building Has A New Name

There's a new art-inspired, boutique hotel coming to downtown Davenport in the former Putnam Building. The Current, Iowa is currently under construction and will be one of only 130 one-of-a-kind hotels in the Marriott Autograph Collection.

The project consists of a 125,000 s.f. complex interior demolition and historic renovation of the former Putnam Building and adjacent Center Building into a 66-room hotel and 26-unit apartment complex. Twelve of the 26 apartment units can also function as hotel rooms based on occupancy. All of this is part of Restoration St. Louis' $60 million City Square project that Russell is very excited to be a part of.
